When a vacancy needs to be filled within the company, the relevant Hiring Manager for that vacancy will create the vacancy within Hotlist. The Hiring Manager will know all the relevant information regarding the Vacancy so makes sense for them to start the process.

Accessing Hotlist Hiring Manager Dashboard

o   Log in to Teams and click on the Hotlist Hiring Manager icon.

o   The Hotlist dashboard will appear.

Creating a Vacancy

The Admin User should have created Profiles for all the job descriptions and adverts for all Vacancies within the company.  If the vacancy you require is not on the list, please contact your admin user for Hotlist.

o   Click on the Vacancy Tab

o   Click on dropdown arrow in the New Vacancy section and select the relevant Vacancy and click Create.

 

 

Decide whether to create a vacancy for an available role or for speculative hiring.

 

Speculative - If a company is always on the lookout for suitable applicants for a specific role (like a Power Apps Developer or an Office Administrator for example) if there are no current vacancies, you can create a speculative vacancy and if the TA finds suitable Applicants while checking LinkedIn or other Websites they can add them to the Speculative Role.

 

Create Vacancy - If there is a position for vacancy that you would like filling as soon as possible, then you would go down the Create Vacancy route.

Will open up a pop up box so a Hiring Manager can choose if they want to create a Speculative Vacancy
