What they are:

An Approver Group is a group of Approver Group Members that have the authority to approve the creation of a new vacancy or approve an offer made to an applicant.

 

o   A member of HR or the CEO may want to be assigned to every Approver Group as they may wish to be the one that approves the Vacancy or Offer

 

o   or a Member may have responsibility for various areas within the workplace, so they may want to be assigned to various Approver Groups

 

o   or a couple of Members from within the same area of the workplace, may have authority to approve the creation of a vacancy or approver an offer for that area, so multiple members can be assigned to a group

 

o   AGM1 and AGM 2, may both have authority to approve in the Technical area of the workplace, so they would both be assigned to the Technical Approver Group

How to Create them:

Click on Approver Groups in the sidebar menu (only Admin and authorised users will see this)

Click New – Insert Name

Click Save or Save & Close

How to allocate Approver Groups to a User:

If a User needs approval when creating a new vacancy or an offer made to an applicant, the relevant Approver Group should be allocated in the Roles Approved By field.

 

Click on the Users in the sidebar menu (only Admin and authorised users will see this)

Click on the relevant User

Click in the Roles Approved By field and search for the relevant Approver Group.

 

The Approver Group should have all the relevant Approver Group Members that have authority to approve that Users new vacancy or offers.
