Applicant Update is the main function in Hotlist ATS that will move an applicant through the recruiter process.

Find the relevant Applicant

 

Applicant Profile

o   Click on the Applicant Update Icon at the top

 

Applicant Tab within the Vacancy

o   Tick the box next to the Contacts name

o   Click on Applicant Update that will have appeared just above the list of Applicants on the right of the screen

 

Applicants Sidebar

o   Tick the box next to the Applicants name

o   Click on the Applicant Update Icon that will have appeared at the top of the screen

 

Applicant Update

o  You will see:-

  • Applicants Name

  • Current Applicant Status

  • Vacancy Name

  • The Name of the Hiring Manager

  • The next logical Status will appear in the dropdown

o   You can amend the Status to another Status if you need too

o   If you are setting the Status as either Feedback, Screened, Submitted, Offer Made, Accepted or Placed - Set the Status and then insert your relevant feedback for the hiring manager to see

o   If the Status is Interview – follow the instructions in Setting up an Interview

 

Rejecting an Applicant

o   If the Status is Rejected – set the Status to Rejected, select the relevant Reason from the reason dropdown menu, and then insert your feedback for the hiring manager to see.
