The Timeline will be located on the general tab for the Applicants and Vacancies, and the summary tab for a Contact.

Go to Timeline > + button > Email

The New Email screen will open.

From field will be prepopulated, this can be amended if the appointment is being arranged for another User – this is a mandatory field.

Insert the relevant applicants or contacts that you are sending the email too in the To, Cc and Bcc fields.

Insert a Subject

 

Insert the text of the email into the box and use the standard formatting tools provided, or insert an email template

If you need to create a new Email Template either speak with you system admin or have a look in Advanced Settings.

 

In the Regarding field, you will see: -

O   The Applicant information if the Task was created from the Applicant Timeline

O   The Vacancy information if the Task was created from the Vacancy Timeline

O   The Contact information if the Task was created from the Contact Timeline

 

Once you have completed the relevant information, click Send to send the email immediately, or Save and Close to save it as a draft.

Email can then be seen directly within the Timeline.

You have the options to either Open the Record or Delete the Email.

Timeline

If the email is being tracked the email response will also appear in the Timeline.

You have the options to Reply, Reply All or Forward the Email or you can open the Record and see the whole email thread.

Activities

You can also find your Email in the Activities menu.

Use the filter to sort by Activity Type > Email.

You can then see the Email you created in the list.
