Views:

The Timeline will be located on the general tab for the Applicants and Vacancies, and the summary tab for a Contact.

Go to Timeline > + button > Update

 

The New Update Activity screen will open

Insert a Subject – this is a mandatory field

Owner will be prepopulated; this can be amended if the appointment is being arranged for another User – this is a mandatory field

In the Regarding field, you will see: -

O   The Applicant information if the Update Activity was created from the Applicant Timeline

O   The Vacancy information if the Update Activity was created from the Vacancy Timeline

O   The Contact information if the Update Activity was created from the Contact Timeline

  

Insert a Description of the Update

For data integrity, it is advised to enter the Purpose of the Update. The Purpose list links to your existing Activity Purposes. New Purposes can be created to support Updates where required.

Click Save and Close once you have completed the relevant information.

Timeline Info

Updates can then be seen directly within the Timeline.

You have the options to Assign to another user, Complete, Add to queue, Open Record and Delete the Update.

Activities

You can also find your Update in the Activities menu.

Use the filter to sort by Activity Type > Update.

You can then see the Update you created in the list.
